Named because an angelito intercepted my mother’s dream, I was going to be Laura before I was Veronica Isabel Polanco. Like all my parents, my parents felt in their hearts that I was going to be VIP, a very important person. The pressure.

My goal is to be a full human person. I often spend hours pacing around the walls of my inner world, contemplating humanity, & fitting words together like forced puzzle pieces.​​​
